Paula also runs a
hair salon in Caernarfon, just a short walk from the Guest house, where she can
pamper your every needs whilst you visit the historic town.
Caernarfon has much
to offer the visitor, with quaint little shops and restaurants, as well as a
magnificent Castle built by Edward I. A mile from the town centre lies the
remains for the Roman fort of Segontium.
Caernarfon lies on
the banks of the Menai Straits overlooking the island of Anglesey. It is ideally
situated to tour the fabulous beaches of the area and exploring Snowdonia
National Park. Mount Snowdon is only seven miles south, where you will be able
to book a train ride to the top of Wales' highest mountain.
Paula and Derek are
both local to Caernarfon and are bilingual. They will be able to help you out
with your holiday plans and difficult to read Welsh place names.
